[Misc] MX617de screen falure

Has anyone had recurring screen failures on this model, possibly the MX3150 as well. i replaced a screen in January and the customer is stating its not working again.
I did have a bad one right out of the box, so technically I've replaced it twice already.
I used Part number 41X0756.

are you following the steps in the service manual? otherwise you can brick the copier. though you might have gotten another bad one from the factory. something else you might look at if they say its not working. some ladies have long fingernails, and the touch may not respond. i know it sounds weird, but they have to use the meaty part of the finger, not the nail. also crumbs and other stuff might get inside the area around the touch screen and the actual plastic cover.
