X654 firmware error 900.24 at power on

    X654 firmware error 900.24 at power on

    I've got a customer that's asked me to look at a tabletop Lexmark X654xe. When powering up, it gives a firmware error of 900.24. The manual isn't that detailed beyond the code being a controller error. Hoping someone here has a better idea of what the issue may be, and if there's a way to bypass the error to at least try reloading the firmware.

    I'm mainly a Ricoh and connectivity guy, but I've serviced several other Lexmark models: this is the first time I've seen a full-on POST error on one.

    remove the network connection and see if you get that error after reboot.

      Yes, clear any corrupted print jobs in the queue if any and do as above
      Defects are simple, our mind is complicated
