[Error Code] Lexmark CS727

Hello everyone,
I need some advice. I have a Lexmark CS727 for repair. There is a problem with reading the magenta toner. I replaced the TMC card and still have the same problem. The error I get is 43.42z to replace the magenta toner. I replaced the drum unit kit as well as the developer set because I thought that something was stopping the toner from starting. I also tried with the new firmware but the problem is the same. Does anyone know if there is anything else I should check before giving up on the repair?

did you replace the toner with a lexmark toner? or is it a generic?

Yes. That was first thing that I have done. I have tried with new Lexmark original toner. Same problem with old and new toner

you already did the sensor test show in the service manual? im guessing thats why you replaced the tmc card... from what i see you have done everything lexmark recommends.

I did, I tried all the options (replaced toner 3x, tmc board, new firmware with licenses, tested sensors).
The only thing left for me is to replace the controller board but it's too expensive so I'm looking into other possibilities playing with the same one is too expensive if it doesn't work with that

Open the toner access door and check that there are 4 posts that open the shutters on each toner. These can break off. When they do it will cause the toner to read empty and at this point you will have a full toner reading zero that cannot be fixed.

If the mageta post is broke off the only option is to order an entire door as the individual posts cannot be ordered. Once you have a new door you will also have 3 spare posts when and if this happens again.
