any techs want to help me with this one... I am a konica guy - just seeing if this is worth keeping.


Getting poor transfer, and registration.
I assume its needs transfer belt and transfer roller, but why bad reg.

Drums and all consumables seem ok, except the BLACK DV says its down to 4000 pages. (LOW)

Before you order up the transfer belt assembly, try doing the color alignment. I can remember occasions when I changed the belt unit, the machine ran through it's own setup ... and the color registration was really bad:

(This procedure came from a similar model, so the actual keystrokes may vary):
Power On in 26 mode > V x4 to Color Alignment > Print Alignment Page > change numerical settings for best color alignment > Submit > Exit Config Mode. Menu > Settings > Print Settings > Quality Menu > V x3 to Color Adjust > OK.

Otherwise, yes transfer belt assy. =^..^=

Update the firmware to CXTPP.076.308. Available at support.lexmark.com

The do the following:
Settings, Device, Maintenance, Configuration Menu, Toner Patch Sensor Setup, Full Calibration -> START

This will do nothing for registration or poor tranfer but it will get it to a good starting point.
