    [Error Code] Lexmark 5263 with error code 126.01

    I have a Lexmark XM5263 with a service error code of 126.01. I have replaced the LVPS and the fuser with known good parts. I also updated the firmware to the latest version.

    The machine just boots to a white screen with the service error code. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

      Troubleshooting a 126.01 service LVPS error

      Issue description

      The printer posts a 126.01 Service LVPS (Low voltage power supply) error.
      Solution

      Before performing the steps below, confirm the following first:
      • The printer must be running with the latest firmware version. Guide the customer with the updating process if necessary.
      • The power outlet is providing at least 90% of the nominal voltage; i.e., a 120 V outlet must be greater than (>) 108V.

      Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
      2. Make sure that printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet. Do not use a power strip, surge protectors or an uninterruptible power supply.
      3. Make sure that printer has been turned on in an ambient temperature for about 30 minutes.
      4. Downloading the latest Lexmark printer firmware to know how to check, download and update the printer firmware.

          Is it the correct fuser for this model?

          I spent waaaay too long discovering that my enduser had ordered and installed a fuser ... but not the right model fuser. It fits, but it doesn't work. Never assume ... =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Correct.. The type is usually written on the fuser that previously worked, et. 00 , 01 ect. The service manual would also have the description.

              I am guessing though, that the previous fuser was working and came up with the error code, and it was replaced with another fuser, supposedly, the same type and got the exact message.
              It may be that the machine is connected to a extension cord or something of that nature and or there is an under voltage or low voltage in that outlet.

                  It is the correct fuser. I pulled it from another 5263.

                      The line voltage and frequency have been measured and are within spec

                          I appreciate the help. I was rebuilding this machine on a Friday. I was just running some final tests on it and it was good. I turned it on Monday morning and this problem came up.

                              unplug everything again and check for bent pins on the boards. Reconnect and check again. Must be something you missed, that you are not seeing presently.
