means that is the wrong toner for the machine.

could also be a 3rd party toner

thanks for the reply.have checked all toners all are OEM toners correct for machine. also noticed when front door opened and closed, message on screen changes to INVALID MACHINE CONFIGURATION. which apparently means time incorrect. Have set time and date correctly. machine tries to fire up the goes back to original message of toners not supported.

I had this recently on a similar model. Turned out the new cartridge was faulty. ID chip was faulty. Popped the old cartridge in ad it worked. Sent customer a new toner and all good.

if that doesn’t work then it’s the lmaging unit the toner plugs into.
