    [CQ] C736dn Running hot on magenta and streaking with graphics/pictures

    Working on a Lexmark C736dn that is having issues running graphics through MS Publisher (streaks colors) and is running very hot on magenta. I don't see any color specific adjustments (ie; Konica-Minolta boxes you can adjust max density and background for each color individually). If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

      The first thing with Lexmark is usually firmware. The current level is .413 I believe. These are not the greatest machines to begin with. There is a coupling which runs the paper feed and the waste toner removal. Sometimes, this coupling gets out of whack and streaking can occur. Open the front cover, the coupling is lower left corner of machine.
      Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
