[CQ] X466 dropping toner.

Anybody else having trouble with X466's dropping toner all over the copy? We have had a run of this problem over the last few weeks and can't seem to pinpoint the reason why. Lexmark have had us change toner cartridges, PCU's and power boards but some machines just keep doing it. Have we just been unlucky and recieved a faulty batch of cartridges?

Ok, after a lot of mucking about it appears that one of the spring contact wires underneath the cartridge came lose in the chassis causing it to misread the TD sensor and start adding toner non stop. Don't know what the fix is as we are getting Lexmark to replace the whole box under warranty. The embarrising thing about this whole sorry episode is it took the customer to point out that one of the contacts had disappeared after Lexmark had been there twice and found nothing wrong.

The toners as well as the fc kits are left with many problems, we have many of these machines and already dozens of exchange as security toners and fc kits ahead of time. The problem is that the TD sensor that does not make the correct determination.
