    Lex X792 Finisher removal????

I installed a brand new staple finisher on a used X792dte for demo purposes. Now I want to remove it and sell it on the new one. How in the world do you get it back off? It installs with no screws or latches. You need no tools. How do you get it back off without destroying something? Anyone know?

On the couple of Lexies I've worked on, the finisher just sits there on a modular connector. Power Off and lift it out. I can't say that I've seen the X792, and it's one of the few Lexies that has the traditional paper path. Most of the little ones feed up the front, across, up the back, then out on top.

That is one odd looking finisher. Sorry I can't be of much assistance. There's got to be a release lever somewhere. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

This finisher just slides out to the RHS of the machine, no latches no screws.

Just grab a hold off it and ease it away from the machine, seems strange but that's it.
