I have this machineand if I cannot set up to scan to folder or email it is a deal breaker. HELP!! Please?

google for the user manual in pdf format. e.g "user manual for lexmark x658 pdf" . look for the one that has a total of 308 pages.
page 127 has the information you require.

Lexmark has apps to download and install on the mcahine. There is also a scan to network adminstration guide pdf format you can google. maybe someone can help you with getting the app or call lexmark. the admin guide will show you how to setup and use the functions you need.
There is a scan to network app for this machine.
Scan to Network lets users scan their documents from the printer to network destinations specified by the administrator.
After establishing the destinations (shared network folders) in the network, complete the setup process by installing

I haven't had the pleasure of installing it, but Lex has it's own FTP utility like Sharpdesk that does a quickie FTP setup following the prompts. It was on the setup disk of the machine I was working on. My suggestion is to look at that setup disk. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
