      It sounds like it's waiting for the correct media (orientation/type, I dunno) to be loaded. It looks like it's a "receipt" type printer. Not really a FULL impact printer.

          From the USER MANUAL.

          "Data are sent to the printer, the printer is waiting for the insertion of the paper."

          If you've done what the USER MANUAL says to do, then you probably have a faulty or obstructed sensor or a faulty sensor board.
