OKI MC 873 paper detect arm

    hello everyone

a client moved their machine and the end of the cassette paper detect arm went missing, (small flag with spring) so it no longer detects paper - i have the parts manual but for the life of me i can't find this item

does anyone happen to know the part number?

    thanks in advance

    Andy

If you are unable to get one, just fold a piece of paper and place it to block the photo-interupter.
This will make it think paper is present.
All that happens is you get a jam when the tray runs out.
Just tell the operator after each jam to check that there is paper in the tray.
1 jam every 500 pages is not so bad and it allows you to still use it

unable to reach photo interrupter without dismantling half the machine - ended up fashioning something out of a paper clip
