    [Misc] SP 4510 Drum Unit

    Good afternoon.
Perhaps you are tired of hearing about the problems with the SP 4510 drum units and the risks that appear on them, we are using a Katun toner and they do not last long, 2k, 3k maximum. Up-to-date printers with the filter, will only the original toner work on them?

    Thanks.:legal:

These entry level model are notorious for having their PCU going only 50% of the expected 45K. Expected toner bottle life is 8K to 10K assuming 3 page per job at 6% coverage when using Genuine Ricoh. After market toners such as Katun may have as little as half the toner that Ricoh cartridges do. So if you are not using Genuine Ricoh it is like the old Fram oil filter commercial. YouTube
