I know the Kon 7255/7272 had problems with the display becoming very faint. You are correct it is the board not the LCD itself. When I had a bunch of these in the field I would get the board repaired by Hytec dealer services in Fla. Around $70

Funny the Minolta cross Di-5510/7210 operation boards didn't go bad like the Konica version. As you probably know the operation boards are different.

Thanks for the info but already checked with Hytec and they don't repair them or support them any longer no does Konica Minolta. That's why I was hoping someone would have a good used operation board part #56QA-9031 .
