It might help to know what manufacturer and model it came from. My Ouija board is in for repairs. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Repair the original old filter if the plastic frame is not broken.
Buy a roll of filter foam, cut to size of the orginal frame; secure in places with
double sided tape,soft glue or velcro (for easy replace ); it should be good as new.
You can buy filter foam and stick on velcro strip from any frabic shop or hardware store.
The other alternative would be a 3D printer and create the filter from scratch.
