I began repairing Ricoh/Lanier/Gestetner ect.. units about a year ago and recently was able to purchase a old Ricoh techs stock of replacement / repaired parts and have so many fusers and development units which have lost any labels, "in the pink bubble wrap" and I can for the life of me begin to ID a these parts to a machine let alone a PN by just looking at them yet and was wondering if anyone has any tips as the parts themselves don't seem to have any identifying numbers, ect.. printed or etched on them which is what brings me to my first post/question. I do want to give a long overdue thanks to everyone on this forum as its helped me over and over learn how these machines function, this is the first place I search which I need information and it's always been the last! Thanks in advance for any help pointing me in the right direction!

Re: Any Tips on Identifying Part Numbers on unlabeled Ricoh fusers & development unit
My suggestion is to post some pictures. Surely some of the experienced Ricoh tech can ID a fuser. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
