    samsung scx6345 toner sensor?

Have a Samsung SCX6345 that is printing lightly. The customer had a tech in and was told it was a sensor. What sensor could he possibly be talking about?

Could be that or toner drive gear stuck in and not driving toner too... auto toner sensor is built into drum unit with that model... so depends on age of drum unit too... its considered a consumable.

Thank you. The drum looked pretty new, but maybe we need to try to change it. Since we are coming into this after someone has already told the customer that it needed a Sensor, supposedly replaced the sensor, and it worked, but removed the sensor when the customer didn't have payment right away. I really appreciate you help.

This situation sounds as if you need to tread lightly- You may become the hero to this customer (which is what you want!) but at the same time it sounds as if this customer may have already played the previous company for a loss, and because the previous company finally caught on, the customer is looking for new fish to fry-
