    Toshiba E-Studio 3530c LCF Feed Sensor

    I'm looking for the part number for the LCF Feed Sensor for a Toshiba E-Studio 3530c. I am getting error code E190 and the board and connections appear fine and I want to change the sensor itself. It won't even feed the paper anymore from the LCF. Also, the service manual does not include replacement of the LCF Feed Sensor, so any help would be appreciated: where to purchase the part and any information on installing it.

      I know this is late, but there are several possibilities for E190 codes on the KD-1024 LCF:

      1) If you're getting doublefeeds, I've seen the small gears that drive the separation roller break.
      2) I've seen worn clutches.
      3) I've seen broken wiring at the clutch connectors, especially if the harness is still tucked into all the looms. The harness lasts longer if you release it from some of the looms, and let it move freely.
      4) I've seen the outer bronze bushings installed backwards (ridge outward). It lets the clutches shift 4mm to the rear, and the gears disengage or the wiring is damaged. The bushings should be installed with the ridges inside the drive pack.
      5) And today: One of the support posts at the rear of the pickup unit, where it's supported by the frame broke off, allowing the drive gear to disengage. No drive = no feed. The clue was how loose and wobbly the rear part of the pickup unit is.

      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
