Regarding PH Unit of Color Bizhub

I would like to ask if can i use the PH Unit of Bizhub C250 to the Bizhub C352 machine and vice versa? Thank you very much.

Thanks for the reply, I have bizhub C250 and bizhub C352 units but i can't see if there is difference on their PH Unit (physically) though they have different part number. I need a PH unit for my bizhub c250 and i was thinking if i can use the PH Unit of the bizhub C352. Hopefully someone can give me an idea.

As far as I can remember, I have swapped around the printheads on these models, I've also used IU, after changing the chips, transfer belts & toners...

Yes you can use the C352 lasers in the C250 and vice versa.

Also I have always replaced just the one bad laser unit instead of all 4 at the same time as K/M suggests. I have used C353 PH's in C203/253's. I thought maybe because the machine was faster they wouldn't work but had no problems.

I have tried using IUs for a C352 on a C252 and it did not work. It continuously added toner until it was packed full. Epic fail. Lol

Agree the IU's are more touchy on the series. I have always had trouble chipping those units. The most important thing is to chip the IU's before reaching end of life. Less problems if you chip them at 80% of life. The attached document has some tips to help with chipping the C250 series.

I've never seen a C252....I thought the question was about a C250 & C352....which is what I answered...

A C252 is exactly the same as a C250. It uses all the same parts and consumables. The only difference, I think, is the bypass tray.

I have a c252p I hate that blasted thing and that stupid jig software.

I will sell it or part it out if you guys need something. I don't even think it has more than 10k on it.

The drive motors on the back, far left and far right are the same and we have used every one we had. The center one is different and never seen one go bad. If you part it out, save those two. The "parameters chip" is the only socketed/removable chip on the left side board. It's in the upper left corner. That holds fuser & transfer belt counts. Carefully remove & save that. We have had units that wont reset with a new belt or fuse. We have to reset the counts on a good machine and transfer the parameters chip to the stubborn one. Would be nice to have a spare chip. The HDD would be good to save as well. Can't think of much more we use, but all that is the same as a C252.
