bizhub c35 firmware?

I recently was given a bizhub c35 copier. it works great, but i've got an imaging unit replacement notification. It prints fine for now, but want to do the c35 life stop settings (bizhub C35
Way to change Life attention message (Updated in July, 2013)). From what i read, there is no need to buy reset chips.

the life stop pdf refers to the latest firmware update, so i need to update the firmware, but i cannot find it anywhere. anyone knows where to find the firmware and what the instructions for update are?

If the drum notification is there and it's working it may already have been set up to no stop for the life's?

Last I remember, there are two FW, depending on the MFB serial #. Mine is running Ctlr FW A12130G0011005 Engine FW A12150G0020000. It's just a trade in IDK if/when the fw was updated. This fw shows on page 5 IU Yield settings: standard/long. I'd have to get the bulletin to remember where the stop/suspend settings are.

it even shows one toner missing, while it is inserted?!

anyone who can help me with firmware update for the life stop. the life stop pdf speaks of the following, but cannot find firmware updates anywhere. the life stop pdf manual mentions:

Update to the latest engine & controller firmware then change these settings.

It does work even if your machine as reached "lif stop"

thanks for your response, but i already found that pdf file. I'm new to the copier firmware scene, but i'm not willing to pay for firmware updates but thanks for your offer. so if someone has the firmware update software and is willing to share that without payment, let me know.

The firmware only extends the life of the image units, you will still need to replace them or change the chips. 🍟

that i understand. problem is, it still prints just fine with imaging unit almost near 0%. I feel no need to replace the imaging units until they are really worn out

yeah its a waste to change them before they are faulty. its like changing a toner when its only warning you its almost empty *looks at majority of my clients* lol
