Hi.

Is it possible to print A3+ from the bypass tray ?

According to the specification, it should work but not in reality

The A3+ is not fitting into the bypass tray

You are right specs say bypass tray can feed up to 12x18. A3 paper is 11.7 x 16.5 so it should work. Are you having trouble with the width 11.7 or the length 16.5 not fitting?

I know this is a stupid question but are you opening the additional small tray on the big bypass tray. Sensors are on this small door for larger paper and needs to be open for machine to recognize the larger paper. Also A3 size paper would hang over the end of tray if you don't open.

What is the exact size of A3+
I think it is 12.992 inches by 19.016 inches ( which is also called A3 extension, if I am correct)
I do not think C280 can handle this width.
Please let me know if there is any turnaround solution.

Used made up paper
Had a customer than printed and trimmed down to an A3 with some help.
