    c3850fs screen blank, machine cycling

    Gentlemen
    Not sure where to start. The screen is blank, start button and power save button orange. Main motor is cycling machine. PRCB possibly? MFP?

      I would start by disconnecting the network and fax cables, I would try and boot into service mode holding down the power button, and if you can update firmware and format the HD. If that doesn't help I would try disconnecting the HD. Memory and ssd could also be a problem on those machines. And of course the PCRB.

              It was the SSD on the MFP. I put one in from a parts machine. I was concerned about corruption but so far I only got a DO94-96 code. I took care of that by formatting the drive. I'm not sure what information was transferred over from the SSD since I received the copier in this condition. I'll update the firmware and go from there.
