I replaced the fuser in a T650 at a local drug store. I replaced it with a refurb fuser that I ordered from a company that does business on the Walmart website. The reason I chose this company is I knew I could get my money back with no problem should there be a problem.
Well, I installed the fuser and it worked great while I was there and for a couple of days after that. On the 3rd day I received a call from the customer saying that the printer was making a loud noise. Upon inspection, I found a flat spot on the lower roller. I'm thinking the heat lamp temp. wasn't being regulated properly (high temp) and when the machine was sitting idle that it created a flat spot on the lower roller.
Anyway, I'm really not wanting to buy an OEM fuser. Anyone know a good company to order a refurb?
