    Konica Minolta C3110 - Scanning to macOS Big Sur 11.

    Hi guys,

    we have a customer that requires scan to folder/ftp set up on macs and they currently have C3110's

    newest version macOS Big Sur 11.

    I have done the usual by creating a folder on the desktop, allow file sharing, shared the folder with read/write permissions, but the machine just errors when trying to scan to it.

    any suggestions?

          This question gets asked all the time.

          It can be resolved with a firmware update on this old model.

              I thought macs scan to smb 3.0 or sftp. Aren't Konica Minoltas using 2.0 or ftp?

                          haha sorry i just a scan tx failed, these machines dont give out a detailed error unfortunately
