    [Misc] Konica Minolta C458 Humming/Whistle Noise

    in Konica Minolta C458 getting continuous Humming/Whistle Noise.

    Even the front and side doors are open and machine is not functioning. Is it from power supply? or another card.

    Kindly advise.

      Not much is on and little output from power supply with doors open. If happening when doors open then I would look at a fan making noise.

          I'm with the previous answer, I've had to replace several fans for noise, down by the power supply. Reasonably easy to get to.

                  Is it similar to a coil whine? 454s had this issue, a board on the upper rear of the machine. I suspect because they were initially designed for 20a but then dropped to 15a, as it only affected the 454s but never fully looked into it. Might be the same for the 458.
