4020i, 1st time it has needed toner, new bottle will not clear the message. We don't see anything glaringly wrong, and bottle shows present in other devices.. Is there any kind of admin or service mode toner reset similar to the I series? E

that thing is a wolf in konica clothing.
amazon has the whole machine for 550.00
you will probably lose more than that servicing it.
sorry though, since its not a real konica none of the normal engine dip switches are helpful.
i am at a loss to assist.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

Either that or try this.
Find where is # on touchpad right of display (hint: keypad will light up by pressing Fax on display).
Press home to be in initial state then open front door and press and hold # for a few seconds, reset menu should pop up( at least on original it will), choose right toner capacity and that is it.A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds.
