    Bizhub920: drum beating, background

    Hello.
There are toner tracks with circumference of drum (leftward on the picture, operator's edge at the machine) at the same places mostly. Also there is some background. The page is A3. Please, do not see at band in the middle - it's scan defect.

Drum is new, cleaning blades are new. Machine counter is about 7 000 000.

i know its silly to ask but all the counters were reset for all the parts replaced and you performed the following and it still happens?

Drum PeculiarityAdjustment Blade Setting Mode e
Auto Drum Potential Adjustment f e
Auto Maximum Density Adjustment g f
Auto Laser Diameter Adjustment h g
    LD Offset Adjustment i h
    Auto Gamma Adjustment (1dot) j i
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Maybe the spacer collars on the developer unit try putting 1 or 2 wraps on them

Where are they? Do you mean developing unit stopper rollers and stopper plates interactions?

It's not silly at all, thank you. I reset and performed installation procedure with adjustments.
Beating is the main trouble as I think. Something wrong in Cleaning Unit - Drum - Developing Unit positions maybe.

They are the collars that set the gap between the drum and developer roller. I'll take picture of the parts manual tomorrow and attach

Putting 1 or 2 wraps on the stopper rollers solved beating trouble.

Additional question about stopper plates which interacts with DEVELOPING STOPPER ROLLER. Are they tightened or loosened?
On my machine both are loosened and swings a bit on their places .

For now there is only background on the second side of duplex printing. As I think it's because of page goes via fuser unit. Bad transfer on hot dried paper? External humidity is 35-50%.

Simplex printing has no background at all at any stacking (face-up or face-down).

Make sure your discharge corona wire and erase lamp is working and in good condition.
Could still be a drum spacing issue.
                      Whatever
