    bizhub doc feeder

    i have two bizhub's that do this:
    when you power up the machine the doc feeder goes off with a jam detect, you open the doc feeder reset it and its solved? only at power up does this happen. and of coarse there is nothing in it.... what gives?

    You need to do the sensor auto adjust for the adf.

      If you get a NG for results after performing the adf auto sensor adjust, you may need a new adf control board. I have seen this symptom before.

          I had this on a C252, exactly the same symptoms as you. I did the sensor check and they all came out OK.

          It turned out to be Turnover Sensor PC5, it was dusty - that was it !
          I guess at initial switch on the sensor was cold?
          Then it warms up as the voltage flows?
          Who knows.
          All I know is, I cleaned it 6 months ago and haven't heard a peep since.
