    Bizhub 6501 fiery problem

    have a bizhub c 6501 fitted with a fiery.once the machine finishes printing one job the controller tab(option on the display becomes inactive) goes off untill the machine is restarted.
    any idea

        I would start as stated above. Otherwise:


        Switch off the controller and the printer on the mains.

        Remove and re-install the SCSI cable between them. Sometimes the connection isn't mechanically sound.


        The interface boards can also be out of sync, and require replacing, but this usually gives more random faults, yours is repeatable.

          bizhub pro c6501

          have connected the faulty fiery to another machine behaves the same.memory or hard disk suspect.any reset cure for this problem

            Have you looked to see if there is a firmware update for this? Or a patch for the fiery?
            Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
