    C2557 ATDC Sensor Failure
    • The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is less
than 7 % while the IU Motor is turning.
    • The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is more
than 19 % while the IU Motor is turning.

In my experience, the amount of Developer/Starter in the tank is low.
Change the Dev and run F8 in service mode.

The post above relates to the mono ineo 250.

Just noticed you may be talking about the ineo+ 250 which is a colour machine. If so:

      C2557 Abnormally low toner density
      detected Black TCR Sensor
      • TC ratio in the developing machine, which is
determined by Toner replenishing amount control
mechanism, is 5 % or less for a given number of
      times consecutively.

Run the Black TCR Toner Supply from service mode. If this doesn't fix the problem, change the Black Imagining Unit.

You need to get into service mode and look at the K toner ratio. If it's below about 7% the K toner add system should be trying to add toner. If its down to around 3-4% you might have to reset the 2557 code several times to allow the % to rise enough to satisfy the monitoring system. You will not be able to add K toner through service mode until the % gets to the minimum level. If you have a full bottle of toner, you may have a problem with the toner bottle motor, or there may be problems with the hopper assy. Poor connections at the PRCB can give this error. I had one on a C652 that was caused by the hopper harness not connected to it's connector on a brand new box. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

Emujo, we still don't know if it's the C250 or mono 250 tariq65 is talking about.

tariq65, if you could clarify the machine model number we will be able to help you further.

but probably the developer is now down of toner and maybe you must change it and run the F8 as said our firend here above....

Just reset the pc life and run F8, code 2557 will reset. You will reset the pc life while the right door is open or else anoying buzzer will come everytime you turn ON the sw. I hope you know the right procedures on resetting pc counters. Then add little toner on developer and run F8. Some tricks you have to do in here.... Little dark copies are expected but after a week or two the copies will surely great!

                  have fun...
