C351 was perking along just fine, ran out of 11 x17 in tray 3. Reloaded, error C-0206 popped up. Opened & closed front toner door, error message went away. Machine recycled, hummed, whirred, bit of a clicking sound like gears gnashing. Up came C-0206, again. Repeated procedure, same result. Any suggestions?

Remove the drawer you loaded the paper in, there is a sheet stuck inside bunched up against the paper lift mechanism at the back."Many years ago I chased a woman for almost two years, only to discover that her tastes were exactly like mine: we both were crazy about girls."

Re: C351 error repeated error code C-0206
I'm getting the same error on a C552. Except I do not have any paper stuck behind my drawers (anymore, I did have some behind tray four but removed it) and I keep getting either a 0206 or a 0208 at pretty much random which one it will be. Tray three will not function no matter what, sensors appear to be working, but it will not lift the paper. Tray four works any time I don't get the 0208 code and I currently have it functioning with tray three disabled.
Any opinions or advice on what may be the issue? I thought that it might be the lift motor, but with it also giving a 0208 code I'm leaning towards a board.Comment

Re: C351 error repeated error code C-0206
For those trays that are no longer recognized, try a System Error Clear. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: C351 error repeated error code C-0206
My service manager had me order a lift motor. When I went to install it, I found that the timing belt was snapped. Ordering a new one of those and will update when the machine is back together. Thanks for the replies!!Comment
