Konica 7033

Have code E56-07, refers to Control Board, Op Board 1 or 2, or Display board ............ very vague description in manual, might it possibly be the front door switch ?? seem to remember hearing this ... Oddly enough this can be cleared by powering off machine, lets you make copies ... but when you come back to it this codew will be on the display ??

Any Ideas ??

Never come across that particular code before but this is straight from Konica. Hope it helps.

Description:
The 7033 intermittently powers OFF/ON or indicates a code E56-07.

Solution:CAUSE: Code E56-7 indicates a communication abnormality between the main CB and the operations panel.

SOLUTION: Reseat all connectors on the main CB and the operation panel. Replace the main CB (p/n 55GA-9300) if the problem persists.

Additionally, door switches are notoriously unreliable - anything odd it's pretty much my first stop.
