[Dead] Minolta BH 420

I'm just started working on a BH 420, upon powering the machine I just get a blank screen and thats it. Figured I would post here for ideas while I troubleshoot. Checking the roms and hard drive, any other starting points or know causes appreciated.

I'd do the firmware, which is a bit of a nightmare on this m/c

With ISW tool vers 3.74 connect the machine over USB cable with laptop and power the machine on. See in the Hardware on the laptop if you have a new input ISW BH420. If yes you can start update the machine by sending the data from ISW. Data lamp should flash. Important is the FW version. Start with the version 13. The machine should be alive again after 8-10 minutes about. Ab version 20 you have to use an other Boot Rom and this a bit complicated but it can also be done if you are familiar with flashing and ISW tool configuration properties.
