Help with the web solenoid for Konica 7155

Could anybody tell me if there is something that I am supposed to do to the web solenoid for the konica 7155 before I install it because they never advance and if I remove the little resistance spring on the side, it advances to fast. Is there a trick to it?

Hi. First of all I must say: I've never seen this model. Say that, probably the problem is related to the sponge roller because it can't rotate freely. I clean the two side of it and the bushings and apply some grease for fusing unit.
Hope this is enough to solve the problem..

are you resetting the fusing web counter ?

A little known fact on the newer versions of that engine once a certain count is reached on the web the solenoid no longer activates until its reset.
