    Imagistics DL46

Anyone ever heard of an Imagistics DL46? This yellowed dinosaur comes with a complimentary "C0996". Is this a Pitney Bowes or a Xerox? I've never seen one of these beasts before.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've never seen one, but I believe that unit is a Pitney Bowes Mail sorting reject.

Let's hope it doesn't go postal on you.

    Good Luck

P.S. That complimentary remark is a nice touch. Keep up the good work.

        DL-46?

Are you sure that it isn't a DL-460? If so it is made by Minolta and if I remember your code is the large paper try on the bottom of the machine.
Clean all sensors very good, they get alot of dust in them. Be sure to take off the front cover of that tray to get to them. If this does'nt fix it try the ribbon cable on the back of the tray.
When I worked for them I had to do this all the time at a school district I took care of.
        Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. Too late now. I have no regrets seeing this one go to the dumpster.
