    fk 502 fax installation question

I am putting a fk 502 kit into an existing machine in the field. problem is. I wanted to get an installation manual
on my konica minolta it shows this kit with the mk 720 but its for a c652 c452 is this close to the same instructions?
I would hate to get into it and have this not be the right manual. thoughts?

Re: fk 502 fax installation question

The instructions are similar to the C650, MK720 goes in, FK 502 slides in from the side, but it goes in the opposite slot the 650 calls for. Then, service mode to install the fax, initialize it, and test. You may want to have the latest firmware version for the C652 if the fax was ever installed in a different MFP. Emujo

After re-reading your post, I'm not sure what model of MFP you are putting the FK-502 in. I is used in several models, the mount kit is different from family to family though.

C280 uses the MK720/Fk502..You should be fine, but have the firmware handy anyway.. Emujo

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
