I don't know what all the switches do, but I do know that switch 3 cancels clicking for scanning.

Otherwise, we have left all the ones we have installed in their factory position and have only every needed to change switch 3 for one machine only.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

BEAR Solutions make a cost recovery system as well as terminals that interface to the copiers.

The BEAR Pod is what they call the interface unit which interfaces the terminal to the MFD.

The bear pod is the device that communicates between the MFP and the "Coin box/ authentication device" inside there are 10 hard switches to set to your needs.

i found out that vendor mode 2 requires 7 & 10 to be set to on.

TheOwl was correct 3 is scan, 4 is fax and 5 is print
