Copier/option/disp sw/T-crg-sw.change to 1. You can then remove toner cartridges by going into user mode maintenance

Thanks, but this is the problem the motors don't turn to release the door & uncap the toner then machine throws the E025 0x10 error.

I'm not strong on this model but have you looked to see what service mode says? I know on the 5030 you could hand crank something in the rear but I never had to go there. Maybe whatever controls that may need to be checked or replaced. See if you can open this link. If not pm me your email address and I will send you the bulletin and a manual

If I use the tool I can manually open the door & remove the toners

Yes I have studied the service manual on this error.

                    4. If both the Main Drive Unit and the Set-on Hooper Unit
rotates together once the Main Drive Unit is manually
rotated while sealing/releasing of the container works
properly, check the sensor harness (to see if the harness
is caught, disconnected or physically removed).■
                    5. Replace the sensor which has been checked in step 4.■
                    6. (If the above measures do not solve the problem,)
Replace the Drum Driver PCB (UN4).■

NOTE: When checking the operation after performing
the remedy, go through the following to clear the error:
                    COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR; then, turn OFF and
then ON the power. After performing the remedy, perform
the toner replacement operation (from toner removal to
reset/recovery) from the Control Panel at least once, and
check that the replacement operation can be performed
                    normally

I have an iR Adv C5240i that is giving me a E025-0a10 which relates to the Yellow sensor PS5. Checked the I/O in service mode and it's seeing the change but still comes up with the error. Swapped the magenta and yellow and it seems to have sorted but now getting a front cover open error and it seems to flit between the front and side covers. Anyone had anything like this before?

Yes, the fix was replacing the set on hopper ass'y (ours was cyan)
