    [Misc] Canon iR ADV C5255

    Hello:

Could anyone please help me with this problem?..

    img1.jpgimg2.jpg

The machine is a Canon iR ADV C5255. I had changed the Magenta Drum unit, clean all conectors and sensors but the did not solve the problem.

    Thanks..

Check the magenta dev unit, the drive gear can break. Also check the mag dev drive coupling in the back on the machine, these can also break.

All of the developers in the c5200 series have the updated gear unless someone put in a C5000 dev unit. Like Copier Tech said, the coupler should be checked but thats a long shot that the main drive or that is broken. Other than that looks like a failed laser unit. Broken hatch as mentioned. I had a c5000 do this many years ago with yellow. I think the firmware was upgraded in c5200 to code and shut down the printer for this. e100
I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.
