    C-360i, boot up issues...

Hey guys...does anyone know the back door (if any) to get into the service mode? I did an Initialization and now the machine won't let me in SM any longer. The Counter button as well as the Copy/Scan buttons are grayed out and stay that way, so I have no way to get into SM. I tried re-loading the F/W that the machine started with (G4) and the machine took it, but no change after that. Seems like a boot up problem but not sure.

    Any help appreciated!

As usual do trouble reset and start from there with normal sequence s00s01 9272x4.
    Regards

Besides G4 firmware is not what I ever heard.

I meant to start service sequence from trouble reset screen without touching OK just do normal service entry. Have fun. G4 isn't available here afaik.

if you initialized the machine boot to a firmware stick and select "machine/type"
make sure they arent both FF
there is a hex based on the serial# in the manual.
i think this will fix this as ive seen it before.
only other thing was the format ssd sequence.
          good luck.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

THANKS for all the help guys! I am currently reformatting the drive. I was able to get into SM from the Trouble Reset screen, thanks to TSB for that one. We'll see where
it goes from here. I just did the same procedure with another C-360i yesterday (initialization) with no issues... not sure what went wrong on this one!

OK, so after Physically and Logically reformatting the drive in SM (both having to be accessed through the Trouble Reset), the machine seems to be behaving normally.

Now to do all the FW upgrading.

              Thank you again guys!
