Konica has announced new fusers, yet again, for the i-series machines. Not sure how this affects other countries, but attached in the bulletin released for the US market.
They are releasing what they are calling a "Fusing Unit II" which is "Upward Compatible" with both Versions (1 and 2) of their i-series of machines. This is not to be confused with the "Version 2" fusers that were released about a year ago. [Click here for V1 / V2 Details]
This is something that should have been done in the first place, instead of having to fumble around with carrying 2 different fusers for the same machine model, depending upon the date of manufacture. What a shit show that is / was.
