    [Jamming] Kyocera KM-5050 JAM00 inner finisher DF-720

    Hi Everyone!
I have a Kyocera KM-5050 with JAM00 error caused by connecting a DF-720 inner finisher. I've checked all the switches in the drop down tray and have swapped out the inner finisher that has the staple option but not the drop down tray since I don't have another. When I disconnect the tray and finisher the JAM00 goes away. Unfortunately, hen I go into the service mode none of the switches for the finisher are not available to test in the menu. Has any of you seen this issue? Or do have any suggestions? I've looked online to located another drop down tray DF-720 but no luck so far. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks!

They didn't design any sensor diagnostics for the finishers on these models.

If it were me, I'd examine each sensor for obvious defects (broken or out of position flag, dusty photointerrupter or reflective sensor, loose connectors etc.) It couldn't take long. There's only one sensor on the main body (ITS: intermediate tray sensor) and one sensor on the finisher (PCSW: paper conveying switch).

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
