Fuser rub off.Installed New fuser same issue. Runs 1st page with rub off in center. Firmware up to latest for this model. Checked fuser temps after 5 page run, Middle and end were at 165-167 Sim 199) then as I let the copier sit and monitored they start to fall to 105-100. As if it's not detecting that drop and reheating. So I ask, in the fourms opinion, Engine or Power source board?? Duplexed 6 sets also, no rub off....Readings are as follows
sim 161) T1 120, T2163, T3 171, T4 181 T5 1, T6 1, T9 165 TA 100...... Sim 198 phase control set to 0.... Now as they do not say in the manual low temp detect as far as I can find, and no thorough instructions on adjusting Temps in 161 or what 198 does at all. I'd appreciate input. no error codes since 2020 regarding fuser..... Thank you all!! PS. I never had to mess with temps aside from tech Bull regarding lowering them to extend fuser life a few years ago if I recall.
