On Ricoh machines works a modified Android Version, you can't install apps like candy crush saga or WhatsApp web (even if its a web site that needs plug ins to work}... In this case the WhatsApp page recognizes the request from the MPc3004 as a Android request... Same if you try this with any Android phone... It didnt work

Basic rule of thumb, if it is not available from Ricoh, it is not tested and approved for use on a Ricoh. In order to prevent possible damage to the Android OS of the SOP, Ricoh blocks all application downloads. Approved applications are normally installed either from aSD card or with WIM and have an identification marker.

the idea I got about the internet/web navigation system of the multifunctions is that it sucks, the few times I tried to navigate (out of curiosity) almost nothing works, it's a bit like surfing the internet with the old smart tv of 10 years ago...in my opinion, they put it just to entice inferiors to purchase yet another useless feature

If some "crazy" person manages to do such a feat, be careful with infected PDF files that run for Android, it is a VERY SERIOUS problem.

Actually Our customers use the Gmail function... But i think the same as you... Its useless

don't worry!...they don't open, due to an error... at least this happened to me.
Personally, I think that the internet browser runs in some kind of virtual container, (like Mame)... I'm not a hacking expert, but I think that Ricoh wasn't stupid enough to run applications that have access to SOP panel os.
