[Error Code] MP6002 SC555 every morning

Anyone in the region facing MP6002 giving out SC555 every morning.

customer will switch off machine after work in the evening.

all internal heaters connected, thermistors and thermostats has been changed 2 sets.

could this be an issue with the controller?

This RTB is also regarding SC555

It talks about cold areas and settings on the SP modes regarding temp detection. Hope it helps!

This bulletin has also been released TSB 007 Reissue for the MP 6002. Dated 6/25/2013. It also mentions that buildup on the thermistors can the problem.

The only difference betweemn the two bullitens is that 007R says to be certain that firmware D1315127C_Engine_vLR0603_SD.zip is installed.

Is there a reason that the customer turn the 6002 off every night?

555 is nothing new to this whole series, you'll find many posts for this on any machine in the 55-90 ppm ricoh's. Anything from replaceing the fuser harness to disableing AOF, cleaning the pins for the springs on the machine connector for the fuser.... check your power also......

I have been working on this issue for a while now, both SC555 and SC552, I am currently testing a newly developed cleaning web that I was told should eliminate this

Part number is AE04 5069 if anyone wants to order it. Apparently it cleans the hot roller better which should eliminate both codes, only time will tell

I can't help you with pricing my friend but I think all new cleaning web's being made now are going to be designed like the AE04 5069. They seem to contain a lot more oil than the older ones.

The only thing that gives me the shits is that we never used to have this issue when there were 3 lamps in the fuser, ever since they have gone to this 2 lamp system, the fuser has become the weakest part of the device.
