List of Sharp softswitches

Over the last 9 years as a Sharp certified tech, we've been told that no one person has the list to every soft switch on a Sharp MFP - besides .

I'm here to tell you that........I still don't have that list, I'm just looking to see what switches everyone has found useful?

We change a couple for VOIP settings from 3 separate bulletins, as well as Address Hold, and toner alert settings.

But what else ya got?

My favorite soft switch setting that has saved us $$ on the phoenix 1/2 models is: Sim 55-1, SW 32, Changing Bit 7 from 0 to 1.
Every 1K, 1 fuser cleaning page.

Needs the latest firmware.

sw 29 bit 3 from 0-1
sw 29 bit 4 from 0-1
Used to set TX speed to V.17 14.4kbps

sw 29 bit 5 from 0-1
sw 29 bit 6 from 0-1
sw 29 bit 7 from 0-1
Used to set RX speed to V.17 14.4kbps

Is there also a way to stop the energy-saving button from flashing (e.g. so that it lights up continuously instead of flashing)? Some people who sit with their desk directly in front of the MFP are driven mad by this

Yeah like MIL in your car, put some tape on it and it's solved. Doesn't work that way though.

Really not comparable, the light is not something that need fixing.
The other solution is to put the copier into deep sleep, with the light on but not flashing.

That's like the customer who said that the machine was too loud (MX4141, just idling runs a fan, barely noticeable in a regular office). The office was completely silent otherwise... I told them to turn on a radio or white noise machine, there was nothing we could do ha.

Hi there, question for VOIP, what is the issue with VOIP before you changed on soft switch settings? and what switch is it? Thanks.
