New setup, tossed an EA-31 error on power up.
Disconnected finisher, powered up to do easy setup.
Then, reconnected finisher, powered up to update to 1733.
After reboot, still had the EA-31 error.
The error is paper jam for INTERNAL finisher.
Pulled off the hole punch, connected with just the finisher,
    came up fine.
Took the cover off the hole punch and found sensor S7-2
did not have a mounting screw to hold the sensor in place.
How that missing screw made the machine thing it had an
    internal finisher is beyond me...

Nice find. This was assembled Friday-afternoon-before-the-long-weekend machine! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
