E-Studio 3505 Black Shadow behind Text on Paper

    Hello All!
Having an issue with any paper that comes out of the machine. Any print, copy, scan, and fax there is a black faint shadow on the paper behind the text. When text is printed on the black shadow, it creates a white outline around the text. Attached is a view of whats going on. Would I have to clean the Red fuser tube or is it the Drum Unit? I'd like to have a little bit better of an idea before i start dismembering...
Thank you all so very much with your help!

    Would it be the fuser?

Just bought a new Toshiba fuser off Ebay ($390) to replace it. I will update here if that fixes the issue

From what I see, the fuser is unlikely. The halo effect you see is usually caused by toner density in the developer. And the lines in the feed direction are usually caused by corrosion of the black grid. What yields on your consumables? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

To add what blackcat said, any chance they are using non OEM supplies?

Hey Rusty! We're running 100% OEM minus the waste toner box.

Does that mean developer? charge units? drums? A little more detail please.

Sorry Blackcat, No I mean we've only changed the Toners thus far. We've probably put around 1k pages into it. Count says: 10732

That is 100% a charge unit issue. Either the charge grid is extremely worn, and you'll know because they go green in colour, the charge unit itself is full of scatter or the charge grid itself isn't sitting properly flat on the pins and the lever which the pin attaches too.

Dismantle the Black Image Unit and remove the charge unit and inspect.

Definitely charge related. Dismantle the charge components including both end blocks and clean accordingly. Make sure the metal casing is clean free of toner and dev.
Check and clean both grid and charge needle. if rusty or green in colour then replace. Also check for black burn marks on the cleaning rod, if so replace it.
Make sure the grid is sitting level as well.
