    Thats me finished work.............retirement tomorrow.

Just to say thanks for the help this forum has given me over the years. I wish you all the best for your futures whatever they may be.
Tomorrow I begin my new life unburdened by awkward customers, long drives and brain corruption. I will miss some of my clients and not others!
Keep the faith..and may your paper always be dry and toners unspilt!
Please do not PM me without asking first.

        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

I know the feeling. It's been about five months for me. I tried a part time job to fill in the time and earn a bit extra. But after five months I can tell you this. It is so great knowing I do not have to answer "what do you mean you don't fix network problems" Or "you mean we weren't supposed feed stapled paper into the document feeder?" And the ever fun one to explain. "No mam I can not be there by 5 today. It is already 4:30 and you are forty miles away"

But it does get kind of boring staying home and there are only so many sites to visit so next week I am going to see about doing volunteer work either at the local VA hospital. Or at the local pet rescue center.

Enjoy the time off and find something to engage your mind. After however many years of troubleshooting machines it helps.

Last 10.75 years has been Highland Office Equipment out of Inverness (I worked from home as live 70 miles north up the A9 covering Caithness and Sutherland including Dounreay) We were absorbed (bought) by Capital Document Solutions of Edinburgh 3 years back. Prior to HOE, I was with KRL Group out of Hull and before that I was a Direct Engineer with Minolta Uk. 24 years in the business of eating toner and smiling at users!
