Just over two-thirds of registered voters in a new poll said they do not believe that those who participated in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot should be pardoned, an idea that has been floated by former President Trump.
The new Morning Consult-Politico poll released Wednesday shows that 68 percent of respondents said they do not believe rioters should receive pardons, which Trump suggested as an idea in the last days of his presidency and has said is something he would consider if he were reelected in 2024.Comment

Trump Organization's accounting firm says 10 years of financial statements are unreliable
Former President Donald Trump's long-time accounting firm informed the Trump Organization last week that it should no longer rely on nearly 10 years' worth of financial statements and that they would no longer be their accountants, citing a conflict of interest.
"We have come to this conclusion based, in part, upon the filings made by the New York Attorney General on January 18, 2022, our own investigation, and information received from internal and external sources," Mazars wrote in a letter to the Trump Organization chief legal officer, advising them to no longer rely on financial statements ending June 2011 through June 2020.
"While we have not concluded that the various financial statements, as a whole, contain material discrepancies, based upon the totality of the circumstances, we believe our advice to you to no longer rely upon those financial statements is appropriate."
The company also advised the Trump Organization to inform any recipients of the statements, such as lenders or insurers, to not rely on the statements.
Mazars also said it would no longer act as Trump's accountant, citing a "non-waivable conflict of interest."
The accounting firm said the only work not completed was the filing of Trump and Melania Trump's tax returns. It says they are still seeking information about an apartment for Matthew Calamari Jr., the company's head of security, which they have sought for months but have not received. Trump's main accountant, Donald Bender, testified before the grand jury investigating the Trump Organization last year.
The letter was included in a court filing by the New York attorney general's office, which has been trying to enforce a subpoena for documents from Trump and seek his testimony as well as that of Donald Trump Jr., and Ivanka Trump. A court hearing is set for Thursday.
"While we are disappointed that Mazars has chosen to part ways, their February 9, 2022 letter confirms that after conducting a subsequent review of all prior statements of financial condition, Mazars' work was performed in accordance with all applicable accounting standards and principles and that such statements of financial condition do not contain any material discrepancies," a Trump Organization spokesperson said Monday. "This confirmation effectively renders the investigations by the DA and AG moot."
In a lengthy court filing last month, the New York attorney general's office alleged it has found "significant" evidence "indicating that the Trump Organization used fraudulent or misleading asset valuations to obtain a host of economic benefits, including loans, insurance coverage, and tax deductions." On the financial statements, they alleged, there were numerous "misleading statements and omissions."
Citing the Mazars letter, lawyers for the New York attorney general's office wrote on Monday, "This development further reinforces what OAG's previous submissions already showed: The Court should order Respondents' compliance with OAG's document and testimonial subpoenas."
Lawyers working for New York Attorney General Letitia James also pushed back on Trump's argument that she is trying to "end run" the grand jury process by seeking their testimony as part of the city investigation while there is an ongoing criminal investigation. Trump's team has argued that James, whose office announced it was teaming up with the Manhattan district attorney's office on the criminal case, was politically motivated.
In Monday's filing, James' office said two attorneys were designated to work with the district attorney, but said they "report to, and operate at, the direction" of the district attorney, Alvin Bragg.

... more revelations come forward upon the news that the ex President's long time accounting firm, Mazars, has stated that the last 10 years of financial statements provided by the Trump Organization cannot be trusted because the Trump Organization provided false information.
Mazars also said they will no longer provide accounting services to the Trump Organization.
This news is in many ways more damaging to the ex President than being twice impeached.
1. He will have much greater difficulty in raising funds from loans to finance his business plans.
2. Existing debt obligations he has with various lenders comes under new review as the Trump Organization has had a long proven history of overstating its assets and understating its liabilities.
3. He will have much greater difficulties in finding a replacement accounting firm to audit his financial statements and if he does find one it will be very expensive.
4. This strengthens the case against him for conducting business fraud by NY attorney General Letitia James.Comment

Trump is Not the issue. We have Republicans OPENLY caught selling secrets that are high treason. Democrats are now protecting their own REPUBLICANS. This is a breakdown of the system. It was fixed with the help of the Chinese and Dominion software, co-owned by Hillary and Pelosi, that could not get a rocket into space until our punk leaders sold it it too them. Everyone assumes that the system is working, it is, but not for us. The DOJ is also in hot water for not saying anything and covering it up. Any investigative measures have been stopped because they know what happened. I have live tape of people voting numerous times, rescanning votes, and they are still trying to rig the coming election. When the rules change against them, they change the rules. Don't worry, you paid 150 BILLION of your tax money to IRAN as hush money, and it is going to cost us until the monetary system breaks down this year. Trump was the Police for the DOJ, Republicans and Democrats, he did not stand a chance against that much corruption, nobody can. One of the most interesting things about Liberal Ideologues is they consistently take perverted twists of news media, and set out to get you to believe their warped perversion of reality is true. They're so convinced, and so convicted in pushing these lies, they themselves fall for the incredibly misled lie they spread.... It's a symptomatic tell tale sign of why Liberal policies and leadership always leads to devastating failures, pain and disappointment for the masses.
One of the greatest ways to combat this perverse moronic noise, is simply do your own research. Whenever they send a video clip, find the actual clip and watch the FULL interview or speech. When they attempt to use one liner excerpts, find the quote and read its surrounding content and context.
Liberals are so easy to expose, but the toughest problem is, as fast as you can shovel the manure they leave spewed across time, they simply spew more....
